I'm not sure if it would be good or not, but I am sure that the two countries would never agree on a multitude of issues. Having lived in both countries I can say that the U.S. has many more freedoms than we have here in Canada. That being said, a lot problems come with all those freedoms. I think the U.S. is way to lax on many of their laws and because of that there are so many crimes commited. Canada is very strict about a few things that they could definately lighten up on. The fight over the medical systems alone would be a nightmare! I must admit though, the countries are alike in so many ways that I wouldn't mind if there was no border.
